I live on a ranch, we own cattle, pigs sheep and we even used to have chickens and turkeys, and guess what people, they are not our pets!!! they are for eating!! people get all worked up about eating meat but that is how my family makes a living, junk food is bad for you, why not lash at it, why target meat, which isn't actually as bad as people say it is. S yeah I eat meat, sue me!! I still love animals, like our horses and dogs and cats, I even love our sheep and cows, and yes some of the quiet ones are "pets" but they are meant to be eaten, that is just life.
anyway, I am done my rant now, thanks for making this stamp, I am so sick of all the PETA and don't eat animals stamps, I can real get what you mean.
why would I hate animals if I ate them...
Predators eat other animals, too, and I don't think they HATE them, they just..well, eat them cause they're hungry and have to.
Humans have teeth to be able to eat both vegan and meat diet. Our organs are able to digest both meat and vegan diet so we are in fact born as omnivores. Just in a biological way. BUT - as we're no longer in urgent need to eat everything we find or can hunt down - we can choose what to eat. There are enough vegetables to eat what your body needs, and so eating meat is by now really just a personal choice.
As for me, I like meat and that's why I eat it. BUT I love animals, also piggies, too, they are cute. But hell they taste simply too good to never eat them again, sorry, no matter how evil this sounds. I know what suffering the poor animals have to go through, but, honestly, even if I, or even a hella lot of people, stopped eating meat just because of that, it won't change anything. It's the law that needs to change, and the prices. Imagine if every animal would grow up in perfect circumstances. Meat would be rare and incredibly expensive and then people would complain about how they have no more money. As for me, I wouldn't mind to pay more for my food. I don't eat so much meat anyway (maybe once in a week really, sometimes several weeks without, depends on what i want to cook and eat or not) and so it would be okay to pay a little more for the few times I want a steak or whatnot.
I simply treat every animal I encounter with respect. They are living beings and as long as they live, they deserve to not be harmed unnecessary, get their food, water, attention, and whatnot. But when the pig is already dead - which will always, ever happen, because butchering will never stop - I can also buy and eat it. Or is it more respectful to let the animal die and rot without a reason because I refuse to eat it when it's already gotten butchered for food reasons?
No offense my dear vegetarians and vegans. I respect your personal choice, and, if I have one over, it's clear that I don't force them to eat what they don't want to eat. In fact I think it's amazing that you're able to live like that without.. well, missing something, you sure eat healthy, but please be careful to get all vitamins and whatever else you need to STAY healthy!
I eat meat, but I'm also helping out several animal rights groups in my country; I try my best to eat meat from industries that actually treat the animals kindly.
I mean, humans are animals and omnivores; we also have the right to eat what we're supposed to eat, right!?
I respect veggies too though~
I hate torturing animals.
but why love some animals and eat other? did you know that the human body is planteater? yup 100%
at least that's what i know.
But good for you for putting your opinion out there, I guess?
Some animals eat meat, and humans are no exception. If we weren't supposed to be omnivores, we wouldn't have 'canine' teeth.
As for the canine thing:
Canines can be found in both herbivores and carnivores, just look at gorrilas. just because we have canines that doesn't means we're automatically omnivores/carnivores.
i eat meat but i love and adore animals!!
...some people dont get that!
Tasty, tasty murder...
I'm kidding of course. Great stamp!
